About

This site is about education, not entertainment.

Keato.info is dedicated to the study of real-world violence, martial arts, self defence and lawful use of force.

The aim is to bridge the gap between theory, training, and the reality of conflict, whether in policing, security, or civilian self-defence.

This site documents and analyses actual incidents of force to identify what truly works under stress, what fails, and why. It draws from policing, martial arts, and behavioural science.

Purpose

  • Improve officer and civilian survival and safety through realistic understanding of violence
  • Promote ethical, legally defensible use of force
  • Help trainers and practitioners separate effective skills from fantasy
  • Encourage critical thinking
