MMA sucker punch – before fight has started
This video demonstrates one of the core differences between combat sports and street violence – in a street fight, there is usually no agreement between parties as to when the fight will start. Attacking first and catching the other party by surprise conveys a massive advantage. This MMA fight might have lasted multiple rounds, but a sucker punch ended it before the other fighter knew what was happening.
6 police struggle to take down 1 man
The first officer to make physical contact attempts an armbar takedown which serves to spin the man around while remaining on his feet. Other police swarm and start grabbing at his arms and wrists. The police pull the man in all directions at the same time, which prevents escape but does not help to take him down.
One officer makes a half-hearted attempt at controlling the legs, but lets go. The man eventually is forced to lean forward, and in combination with tripping over the feet of one officer while being pulled forward in a headlock by another, he falls to the ground.

He twists and strips his arms free, then knocks out the male police officer with a punch.
Bystander assists cop when knife search turns into struggle
Suspect attempts to flee when a police officer searches him. As the struggle begins, a large knife can be seen tucked in to the rear of his belt. The knife falls to the ground as he escapes the grip of the cop. As the cop again grabs the suspect and pulls him to the ground, a bystander who apparently has some training in grappling assists by controlling the legs of the suspect. The bystander then transitions to a rear naked choke which effectively restrains the suspect who stops resisting.
